About our shrimp

Shrimp Boutique sells live freshwater shrimp within Australia. By ordering, you agree to these terms.

All shrimp are shipped as juveniles, about 1–1.5cm, and unsexed
Photos show adult shrimp from our colony. Colour and pattern develop as shrimp mature, so juveniles can look paler or less defined than the photo

Where we ship

We ship to NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and the ACT only. We can’t ship to Western Australia, Tasmania or the Northern Territory, or overseas, due to state biosecurity restrictions on live aquatic species.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in AUD
A flat $25 shipping fee applies to each order
We ship Monday and Tuesday only. Orders must be placed by 12pm Saturday to make each dispatch, as set out on our Shipping page
We may cancel or limit an order if stock isn’t available, or if an order is too large to pack safely in one box

Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for making sure keeping the shrimp is legal where you live, having a suitable cycled tank, and acclimating your shrimp properly when they arrive.

Live animals

Shrimp are living animals. We take great care packing and shipping them, but shipping carries risk. Our live arrival guarantee is set out on our Shipping page, and our refund rules are on our Refund page.
